PETERC White Label 2021 or 2022

(100% Rebula, fermentation and maturation in stainless steel containers)


Color: soft lemon color
Smell: varietal – like butter, yellow apples, a touch of dry herbs with a pleasant youthful freshness
Taste: The taste may be dominated by a slight note of butter, but otherwise it is a very tasty aperitif Rebula. With a long decline.
Recommended food: excellent aperitif, goes well with fish and other appetizers, oysters, sushi
Serving temperature: 10 °C

Cultivation method

Vineyard: “Polje, Birša”
Earth: clay
Cultivation form: single gujot, 4000 vines/ha
Yield: up to 6000 kg/ha
Vinification: hand-picked grapes are pressed under low pressure. Cool the must to 10 °C. After settling for 24 hours, the pure must is poured into stainless steel containers, in which it boils into wine. Fermentation is followed by rapid flow to preserve the fruitiness of the wine. No biological decomposition. The wine is bottled in the summer of the year after the harvest.

PETERC Black Label 2019 or 2020

(100% Rebula, fermentation and maturation in oak barrels)


Color: straw yellow with golden reflections
Smell: intense and complex, of ripe yellow fruit
Taste: a wine with a mineral, concentrated, full flavor that takes us to the world of ripe fruit and Mediterranean herbs, especially basil
Recommended food: will emphasize dishes from sea and freshwater fish; so full that we even recommend it with dried meat delicacies of local origin
Serving temperature: 12-14 °C

Cultivation method

Vineyard: “Pročno”
Cultivation form: single guyot, 3500 vines/ha
Yield: up to 4,000 kg/ha
Vinification: selected hand-picked grapes are crushed and pressed under low pressure. Fermentation takes place in 500-liter oak barrels, in which the wine matures on fine lees for another 12 months.

PETERC Extra Brut 2016

(100% Rebula, classic method, secondary fermentation in the bottle, 5 years aging in the bottle, disgorged 2021)


Appearance: There is a pleasing intensity in the wine’s pale straw shade and the extremely fine beads of the lively perlage, signature of the winery’s house style, resulting in a stylish, long lasting mousse.
Nose: The nose hints at the evolution of aromas, with notes of damp straw creeping in alongside the wine’s predominantly mineral character.
Palate: A crisp, bone dry intensity marks the palate enlivened by flavours of lemon rind and green apple. Long and savoury finish, slightly austere but very rewarding.
Serving Temperature: 9°C
