Giro D’Italia 2025 also in Brda
On Sunday, 24 May, Goriška Brda with the Italian part of Brda, Collio, and Nova Gorica with neighbouring Gorizia will be the venue of the cross-border pink ribbon of the international and massively watched, biggest Italian sporting event, the 108th G I R O D’ I T A L I A cycling caravan!
The laps will take place on our exceptional hills, endowed with vineyards, fruit and olive trees!
The cyclists will enter Slovenia at Plešiv, cross Brdo and ride through Medana, Dobrova, Šmartno, Kojsko and Hum. The route will return to Italy for a few kilometres, just like in 2021, and pass through Števerjan to Nova Gorica.
Even more exciting is that our cycling champion Primož Roglič has confirmed his participation in the Giro! This will be a unique opportunity to support him live on home soil and experience a real cycling spectacle!
